Andy Gilbert

Neat old high end Gilbert – 6 inlaid floating dagger style snakewood points into a cored Gaboon ebony forearm – each point has long slender ivory shard inlay and a ivory diamond, with scalloped ivory diamonds in between at the base of the pionts – ebony butt sleeve with large snakewood razor blade style windows and ivory dagger inlays – piloted stainless steel joint (5/16-14 stainless steel pin) – railroad track style nickel silver rings with alternating ebony and snakewood boxes at A, B, C, D, and E – 0.75” synthetic ivory butt cap – black embossed leather wrap with a light lizard print – very good condition, could use a refinish to be perfect but 85% as is, very clean played cue – recently came out of a collection and was a real high end Gilbert when this was made back in 2000 – only a handful or so have been made still with snakewood, which is a very difficult wood to use

One of a kind Titlist conversion done in a Nautical theme– nice old Brunswick blank with rosewood points into straight grain maple and maple/mahogany/teal/purple veneers – point are arranged rather high, running up into the joint, and they have with maple and rosewood spear tips cut in at the base (this gives illusion it is a reverse splice) – each point has a long ivory shard inlay with scrimshaw work portraying anchors and wheels plus 4 ivory dots showing the N, S, E, and W coordinates – butt sleeve has 4 large and 4 smaller ivory razor blade windows with more delicate scrimshaw work (2 ship scenes and 2 intricate compasses) - flat face ivory joint (3/8-10 stainless pin with ivory tip) and thin silver trim rings in the collars – thick ivory band and silver trim rings right above the handle section – white/green speck Irish linen wrap – white Delrin butt cap – this cue was made in 2006 and is in unplayed condition – fantastic conversion with a ton of work
