Libra cues were made for a few short years in the
late 80s through early 90s by Johnny Sanchez and partner, Jack Potter,
out of Dallas, TX. Their total production numbered at
most a few hundred cues. They got
into the business by buying equipment supplied by Bill Stroud and were
heavily influenced by the work of David Kersenbrock. Well known for their made-to-order,
one-of-a-kind designs, these cues remain popular with certain collectors
not only for their exceptional rarity but also for their superb
playability, unique look, and fine craftsmanship.
